Quantity Surveyor - Building Contractor - North
Company
Building contractor with strong client relationships in the Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland areas. Typical projects are negotiated, small works ranging from £10k to £2m.
Role
A Quantity Surveyor is required to strengthen the existing team. The role encompasses client interaction, pricing works on a reactive basis, managing commercial delivery of projects to completion through effective subcontractor management.
This position is available on a full time basis, with a second role available to work part time, paid pro rata.
Experience Required
The successful applicant will ideally have an understanding of both main and subcontractor environments within the building or refurbishment sectors, with a proven commercial ability and demonstrable understanding of the intricacies of smaller works to ensure profitability.
Remuneration
Full time salary plus car allowance, enhanced pension scheme and holiday allowances.
