Estimating Engineer

An Excellent opportunity for an Engineer with experience in estimating that is looking to join an industry leading and expanding company, to further their technical development and have a career with a well-established company.

This well-established, industry leading manufacturer have been trading for over 100 years, with big growth plans in place this is an exciting time to be joining, playing a pivotal role within the business to support day to day processes.

This role would suit an individual with estimating experience from CNC/machining industry looking to move to an industry leading and expanding company based in Hatfield.

The Role:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotes, compile bids and assist in agreeing contracts, create routings and BOMs in ERP for quoted products, interpret customer requirements including technical drawings, assists with evaluating cost structure for existing customers, assist in identifying, investigating cost reduction opportunities in manufacturing process through cost analysis review
• Core working hours 8am to 5pm, 1pm finish on Friday, flexi time available

The Person:

• Experience in a cost estimating position and routings/BOM creation
• Precision machining/CNC background
• Good communication & organizational skills
• IT Literate
