A SEN School in Stratford is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their wonderful team of educators. This is a full-time role and will start in September. They are looking to start trial days ASAP.
About the School:
- Educates students aged 5-19 with PMLD, ASD, and sensory and medical needs
- Facilitates a safe and secure learning environment
- Offers each student a personalised learning journey to fit their sensory, behavioural, communication, and medical needs
- Provides life-enriching experiences to support students to be independent and take part in society in a meaningful way
- Provides an inspiring, educational, creative, and individualised environment for both their students and staff
- Experience working with students/young adults with special educational needs (SEN) in a school setting is required
- Provide an up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
- Passionate and enthusiastic about working with young people with SEN and other learning difficulties
- Excellent communication skills, being able to work effectively as part of a team
- Help maintain an engaging and stimulating environment for students
- Work in groups or 1:1 with students that require extra support
- Be reliable and professional
- Provide personal care
- Working with leading consultants in the industry who have expertise in education
