QA Lead (Contract, Cork)
We have an immediate need for an experienced QA Lead to join a market leading IT company in Cork for a 12 month contract. This will be a hybrid role (1 day per week on site initially
The role will initially be contracted for 12 months and offers a negotiable daily rate based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead an experienced QA and testing team, encouraging high performance and efficiency
- Create and execute a detailed testing strategy
- Liaise with managers to ensure that the test plan aligns with the overall project
- Deliver detailed reports to all levels of stakeholders , discussing progress and addressing any issues that have been identified
- Mentor and guide junior members of the team and assist with the overall recruitment process
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience within Test Lead/ QA Management
- In depth knowledge of software testing (manual and automated testing tools)
- Strong interest in driving automation testing
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
