We have an exciting opportunity and are looking for an experienced Sales Trainer in Haydock.

You will work with the Learning & Development Manager to provide a comprehensive and seamless training service to the business and our colleagues from new starters to existing sales BDM’s, retentions and internal operational teams at Handepay and Merchant Rentals. You will be responsible for developing, updating, implementing, delivering and evaluating all training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Learning & Development Manager in designing training content.
• Delivery of training, including new starter Induction training, new product launch training and training for existing staff.
• Promote learning through a variety of delivery methods. Primarily sales induction, which is delivered in the classroom, academy, workshops, e-Learning and on-the-job coaching.
• General administration, as required, for delivery of training courses and programmes.
• Supporting with the production and maintenance of training materials and resource documents.
• Maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations.
• Integration within the wider PayPoint Group and delivery of PayPoint specific modules within training.
• Develop and ensure safe working practices.
• MI – Complete performance review related to training.

To succeed you’ll have:

• Knowledge and experience of delivering training programmes using different learning styles and coaching methods is essential.
• Exceptional presentation skills as well as the ability to effectively train, coach and develop at all levels within the organisation.
• The necessary skills and experience of reading the audience and identifying individual training requirements.
• Experience of identifying the most appropriate delivery styles to meet the individual and team training / coaching needs.
• The ability to communicate effectively up to Board level and proven stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work both as part of a team or independently using own initiative.
• The ability to multi-task and work to deadlines to meet the needs of the business.
• Strong administration skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Training and coaching skills are essential
• Minimum 2 years’ training experience
