I am currently recruiting for a Principal/Associate Hydraulic Modeller contract position that can be based in any location listed. This is a fantastic time to join a leading consultancy and contribute to their Hydraulics team, driving their projects forward

What You Can Bring:
- Deep understanding of the UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
- Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
- Expertise in using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange for hydraulic modelling.
- Strong capability in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development.
- Ability to review others' work to provide quality assurance and foster continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS 365 applications; knowledge of PowerBI and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Experience with software such as FME, Optimatics, Ruby (or similar) would be beneficial.
- Relevant degree or vocational qualification in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE or CIWEM) would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation, and environmental solution development projects.
- Oversee model build, maintenance, and verification projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and deliver innovative wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
- Ensure high quality of project outputs and compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery processes.
- Manage and support project managers in overseeing projects and programmes of works.
- Assist in the development of tender responses and fee estimates.
- Supervise and develop staff, providing guidance for their professional growth and development.
- Lead technical innovation efforts and improvement workgroups within the organization.
