The CDM Principal Designer

• Provide expert advice on CDM regulations to clients and project teams
• Develop and review Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and Pre-construction Information (PCIs)
• Conduct health and safety audits and inspections
• Facilitate CDM workshops and training sessions
• Collaborate with design teams to identify and mitigate design risks

The successful the CDM Principal Designer

• Strong background in construction or design with Principal Design delivery experience
• A thorough understanding of the CDM 2015 regulations
• Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety
• Membership with professional bodies such as IOSH or APS
• Proven experience working within a consultancy environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A proactive and positive attitude, with commitment to continuous professional development
