We have an exciting opportunity for several Aerospace MRB Stress Engineers to work within our ever expanding MRB Team.

If you are passionate about MRB Engineering (Aircraft Repair) and you want to be part of a proactive, reactive, fast paced, exciting, customer focused and efficient MRB Engineering Team then we want to hear from you. You will report to Technical Authority for Stress & the Unit Delivery Leader for MRB.

  • Carry out static strength, stiffness and fatigue and damage tolerance calculations using a variety of hand calculation and computer methods.
  • Ability to identify the most efficient methods for analysis whilst ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness requirements.
  • Liaising with the customers approvers.
  • Able to liaise with multiple functions/suppliers to ensure most appropriate design solution is met with consideration to cost, time and performance requirements.
  • Ability to explain and escalate critical issues and an ability to mentor others.

  • Experience working on concessions for a minimum of three years and ideally having held a level of delegated technical approval
  • Experience on F35 Program and/or other Fast Jet Programmes.
  • Knowledge of both metallic and composite capabilities.
  • Completed SAP Training Course and proficient at using SAP for concessions processing
  • Working knowledge of ISAMI methods for static and fatigue analysis necessary.
  • Working knowledge of Harmonised Fatigue methods.
  • A basic understanding of FE analysis including interrogation and post processing of results.
  • Use of traditional reference data as well as customer specific data and the systems used to access these required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
