The Job
As a Commercial Plumber with Vector, you will:
- Carry out first and second fix plumbing works across diverse commercial environments.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes.
- Troubleshoot issues with plant and equipment.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
- Write comprehensive work reports upon job completion, detailing work performed, challenges encountered, and future maintenance recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Generate accurate quotes for additional works, considering labour, materials, and other resources.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and codes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial plumber.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general building services, commercial heating, cooling, water plant and equipment.
- Strong understanding of building services and systems.
- Excellent punctuality and reliability, smart, clean appearance.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to write comprehensive work reports and communicate effectively with management and team members.
- Capable of generating and presenting detailed quotes for potential additional works.
