Gleeson recruitment group are on the lookout for a Management Accountant on a hybrid working pattern, to join an exciting business near Halesowen, Birmingham.

This is an exciting time to join a growing and changing business where you will have full sight of financials across divisions. You'll be liaising with senior stakeholders across the business from through senior management and site staff.

The purpose of the role is to be responsible in supporting preparation of monthly profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cashflow reporting. You will be key in generating accurate and relevant information to support senior decision makers.

This is an exciting role working for a business with a clear vision and clear progression paths to allow someone studying towards finance qualifications to become a qualified accountant.

Based near Halesowen, Birmingham, you will be joining a highly successful team of both qualified and part qualified accountants.

Depending on experience a Management Accountant can expect a salary up to £30,000 per annum + Study support.

Duties include:

• Monthly preparation of accruals, prepayments, journals, cost allocations and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform various month end close activities as well as quarterly and annual reporting.
• Managing numerous bank accounts
• Performing weekly bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
• Reporting & analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external
• Ensuring timely preparation of audit deliverables
• Ad-hoc accounting projects and participate in systems improvement projects.
• Maintain process documentation and contribute to process improvements

Ideal candidate:

• AAT Level 4 or Studying ACCA / CIMA
• Deadline driven and proactive individual
• Highly motivated individual with ambitions to progress within the business
• Excellent excel skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Determination and drive to succeed
