Our client based in Halesowen are currently recruiting for a time-served electrician for their double day shift, to cover all electrical systems + other engineering support where required.
Duties
- Working with maintenance management and area managers to increase the uptime of equipment across the site. Equipment includes forging presses, hammers, furnaces, CNC lathes, millers and borers, manual lathes and borers.
- Maintenance of equipment both preventive and reactive.
- Timely response to all reactive breakdowns.
- Flexibility to work around production requirements.
- Improvement projects.
- Installation and upkeep of site electrical services
- Working in a safe and efficient manner
- Machine availability to production
Job Challenges
- Increasing the uptime of and future-proofing ageing equipment as well as keeping new equipment in good condition.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles required
- C&G / apprentice trained
- Worked in industrial businesses
- Number of years qualified
Package
Monday to Friday 06.00-14.00 and Monday to Thursday 11.00 to 19.30 hours and Friday 11.00-17.00 hours.
£13.93 an hour for 37.5-hour week
Plus 2.5 hours overtime per week
Plus, shift allowance 8.75 hours per week.
