We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to provide focused booster sessions for low-achieving students. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant school community in Islington, London.

Application Requirements: We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate About Education: A genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal development of children.
• Experienced in SEN: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.

• Excellent Communicator: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and parents.

• Adaptable and Patient: The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and a patient, supportive approach to working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering Targeted Interventions: Working with small groups or individual students to provide tailored support in key areas such as literacy and numeracy.

• Collaborating with Teachers: Working closely with classroom teachers to identify students in need of additional help and developing effective intervention strategies.

• Monitoring Progress: Tracking the progress of students and providing feedback to teachers and parents to ensure that each child is reaching their full potential.

• Creating an Inclusive Learning Environment: Ensuring that all students feel valued and supported, and that their individual needs are met.
