Site Engineer (Highways)
Freelance role
Outside IR35
Location - M1
Rate - £350 per day
A Site Engineer is required to join a Highways Contractor on a project on M1. The scope of works includes site clearance, earthworks, retaining structures, slope stability, drainage, pavement, VRS, technology, gantry installation, street furniture and signs. You will support senior engineers in delivering the scope of works, monitor subcontractors and progress on site. As part of the role, you will also carry out limited setting out and surveys as required.
The successful Site Engineer will have previous experience of working on highways projects and be familiar with most of the disciplines listed above.
MUST HAVE qualifications for the role are: CSCS Card, SCM Safety Critical Medical, Highways Passport, CAT4 HSG47 Avoiding dangers from underground services (1 Day Course Minimum with CSCS logo).
