Our Client is one of the largest foodservice providers in the UK, delivering great food and catering supplies to a wide range of customers across the country. Our mission is to provide excellent service and high-quality products to our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Telesales Executive to join our team in Battersea.

As a Telesales Executive you’ll look after a wide range of customer accounts, from local schools to care homes. You’ll be taking customer orders over the phone and showing off your ‘foodie’ nature by being an expert in our food! You’ll also remind customers of products they might have forgotten, and take every opportunity to upsell wherever you can.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Proactively contact existing and potential customers to promote our range of products and services.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Order Management: Accurately process orders over the phone and ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on our product offerings and industry trends to effectively address customer inquiries and recommend appropriate products.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products to maximize sales potential.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in telesales or a customer service role, preferably within the foodservice or FMCG sector
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or related fields are a plus.
