Salary: £85k/annum
Employment Basis: PAYE
Location: East Finchley initially - London-based or surrounding areas
Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays, with a discretionary Friday off per month (subject to prior agreement)

Job Description

• Health & Safety:
• Responsible for H&S for the team and associated subcontractors.
• Ensuring completion of daily/weekly H&S paperwork.
• Team Management:
• Managing electrical site supervisors and ensuring they fulfill their roles.
• Coordinating with other construction managers or project managers to ensure timely project progress.
• Client & Subcontractor Relations:
• Maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Scheduling meetings with clients or other stakeholders to discuss project objectives and requirements.
• Project Monitoring:
• Reviewing progress reports from each team member to track task status.
• Issuing progress reports to the client on a fortnightly basis.
• Ensuring sufficient electrical materials on-site prior to commencing work.
• Procurement & Logistics:
• Working closely with the procurement team to order electrical materials efficiently.
• Resource Management:
• Monitoring work hours to ensure efficiency.
• Commercial Oversight:
• Working with the commercial team to monitor project costs and ensure profitability.
• Design Coordination:
• Collaborating with the design team to ensure spec-compliant electrical designs.
• Implementing value engineering to increase project profitability.
• Researching and implementing innovative electrical materials to expedite installation and reduce labour costs.

This role involves overseeing a high-end residential electrical project in East Finchley, ensuring all aspects of project management are efficiently handled, from health and safety to procurement and client relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical project management, with a focus on maintaining high standards throughout the project.
