Axon Moore are partnering with a longstanding organisation in Preston to recruit an experienced Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an industry leading business, working as part of a superb collaborative team reporting to a highly knowledgeable Finance Director and leading a small, established team.  

Responsibilities include:

• Monthly management information reports and management of month end procedures
• Accountability for the outcomes of all accounting and financial reporting activities
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Management of Quarterly stocktake procedures
• Payroll preparation and reporting
• Management of Annual Statutory Audit
• Margin analysis
• Manage the monthly closing of the General Ledger ensuring the financial data accuracy
• Assist in the yearly budget preparation
• Review of Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliation
• Management of a small finance team
• Ad hoc project work around continuous improvements

Candidates must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, looking to take a progressive step and able to manage multiple workstreams.
