Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Paralegal within Planning / Highways in Grays. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- Dealing with Planning matters within the team particularly the submission of matters to the Planning inspectorate
- Preparation of electronic bundles of documents for Planning Inspectorate as per their checklist.
- Providing to support and assistance to Solicitors in the team including three fully remote Public Rights of Way locum Solicitors.
- Retrieval of paper files, searching for documentation on paper and electronic files, scanning.
- Drafting Orders and Notices.
The candidate:
- Experience and a sound knowledge of highways law
- Experience and a sound knowledge of planning law
- Experience doing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
- Experience doing planning enforcement notices and CLEUDs
- Preferably from a local authority background
