Job Summary

The opportunity has arisen to join the Ingersoll Rand family due to the introduction of a new refurbishment cell at our Redditch factory, the role will be based in Redditch (UK).

The ideal candidate will have experience in refurbishment, build and test of all types of compressed air technology with detailed knowledge of reciprocating compressors.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the refurbishment of customer’s complex, high pressure equipment
• Strip & survey customers equipment, providing detailed condition reports.
• Maintain accurate rebuild records.
• Refurbish equipment to the highest IR standards.
• Co-ordination of any completed work in a timely manner to enable the allocation of the next job avoiding any lost time.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, always manage and log stock levels.

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience in strip and survey and refurbishment of complex, high pressure compressors
• Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical systems.
• Extensive product knowledge within the compressed air industry
• PC literate
• Full Clean driving licence
• Hold or work towards UK MoD security clearance.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based, with some travel expected.
