Frontend Developer – Bristol (hybrid) – £50-60k

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a global leader in remote sensing solutions ranging from rail to industrial. Their highly efficient, quality products are trusted by their vast client base and they’re now looking for a Frontend Developer to join their fast-paced and work on a new greenfield project the company are embarking on.

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for taking charge of designing and implementing new features, as well as maintaining and enhancing current functionalities. This includes fixing bugs and striving to improve the quality of the existing codebase.

You'll engage in technical discussions, critically assess proposed designs, suggest alternatives, and ensure comprehensive evaluation of implementations. You'll also contribute to automated test suites to ensure proper code testing. Active involvement in an agile development setting is crucial, participating in planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Key skills required for this role:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar development role
• Solid experience using React and Typescript
• Experience using relevant testing libraries (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
• Experience working in a small team or on greenfield projects is desirable
