About the Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs and financial aspects of our interior design and fit-out projects. You will ensure projects are completed within budget, providing value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for interior design and fit-out projects across various sectors.
- Conduct cost analysis and manage project costs, from initial estimates through to final accounts.
- Liaise with designers, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate costings.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor and control project expenditure, identifying and addressing any variances.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all financial aspects of projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee project progress and ensure financial control.
- Manage procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Resolve any financial disputes or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the interior design, construction, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of cost management, budgeting, and financial control.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership of a recognised quantity surveying institution (desirable).
