Behaviour Mentor | Camden, NW3 | £95-£105 | Long Term-Permanent | September 2024

LTF Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work closely with a Year 5 child, and other identified pupils, who require additional support due to challenging behaviour. Our partner school in Camden are an inclusive three-form entry whose ethos revolves around fostering an environment where each child feels supported and empowered to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a Year 5 child, assisting in managing and improving their behaviour.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to the individual needs of children.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing relationship children, building trust and rapport.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other relevant parties to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Monitor and track the child's progress.
  • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating resilience, patience, and empathy.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children displaying challenging behaviour.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management or child psychology would be advantageous.
