We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Manager to join a well-established Social Housing provider who pride themselves on providing safety and security through their reliable customer services and supply a wide range of housing options in response to the housing crisis.
The role offers an extremely flexible working basis with a minimum requirement of 2 days in the office and the rest from home. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for an organisation that are passionate about progression, a positive work-life-balance and expansion.
As the Conveyancing Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a remote team to effectively process conveyancing transactions to buy, lease or dispose of land and property assets.
- Acting as the main point of contact for external legal representatives for advice relating to property matters, including title investigation, planning, landlord and tenant issues and litigation.
- Supporting the Strategic Asset Management directorate in delivering its targets, by leading the Conveyancing team in the disposal and acquisition of land and property assets identified through Land Enhancement, Options Appraisal and Void Disposal programmes.
- Reviewing and shaping the internal conveyancing processes and procedures to ensure continued compliance and adherence to current practice and to maximise efficiency.
The ideal Conveyancing Manager will be/have:
- A degree in law, CILEx Level 6 qualification is highly desirable yet possessing relevant conveyancing experience in property, asset management or the social housing sector would deem you suitable.
- Recent conveyancing experience in land and property asset sales, acquisitions, leases, planning and other agreements.
- Comprehensive understanding of the complexities of property title documentation and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working under pressure and will critically evaluate options and present solutions.
- An excellent communicator with commercial awareness, able to produce market research and analysis, collate reports and make sound employment and contract appointments.
- Reasonably high levels of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and proprietary software used for business performance and analytical purposes.
- The Conveyancing Manager will be able to innovate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, leading the team in a confident, professional and competent manner, achieving deadlines, targets and business priorities.
- A full driving licence is essential as travelling between offices and conducting site visits is required.
In return, the successful Conveyancing Manager will be offered a salary of up to £52,300 and a great package.
