We are looking for an enthusiastic warehouse shift supervisor to join a brand new warehouse in Castle Donington. This role is permanent and are due to start immediately for successful candidates.

You will be responsible for the supervision of roughly 25 colleagues, including the planning of workloads and monitoring of KPI’s. This is a really hands on role and you will be involved in the operation along with supervising the team. It’s an exciting time to join this company during this period of growth.

If you have an in-house licence and plenty of experience we would still be keen to hear from you!

Salary;

£34k

Hours;

Monday – Friday 10pm – 6.30am

Duties will include;

• Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation.  Report hazards immediately.
• Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices
• To supervise operational processes to ensure that all customer orders are dispatched correctly, via scheduling people and equipment to optimise efficiency
• Planning workloads to ensure that goods are stored, picked, processed and loaded onto vehicles in accordance with Company stipulated KPI’s
• Motivate team to perform to the required productivity levels through effective communication, coaching, encouragement and team building measures
• Monitors and manages own time to ensure daily objectives are met. Develops and improves procedures in agreement with line manager. Accepts additional challenges and responsibilities willingly and assists others
• Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of internal and external customers. Ensures actions meet or exceed customer requirements
• Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and a methodical approach to work. Works at a pace that matches the requirements of the business and recognises the importance of timely completion of tasks
• Other duties as required
