Production Planner

We are looking for a qualified Production Planner to plan customer demand in like with customer requirement/ Labour capacity and material availability.

Job Summary

As the production planner you will oversee all planning/scheduling and labour planning for the high-pressure business. The candidate must have a broad range of skill on excel include use of macros/formula and have good numerical mind. Control of production routing and raising of production paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production to meet customer despatch dates
• Demand Planning along with Labour capacity planning
• Raising & kitting of production paperwork.
• Attend Daily Shortage Meetings with Supervisors
• Communication and coordination with production and purchasing team.
• Continuous improvement/ LEAN methods Desired.
• Knowledge of KPI’s & ability to comply reports to present to Management team.
• A strong team player / Establishes, Monitors, and communicates well with all areas of the business.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role
• Level 3 NVQ/ A level (CIPS/APICS) or above
• Strong Analytical, Computer, Communication, and writing skills (Typing)
• Strong data capabilities

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This role will be based onsite a Redditch Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:15, Friday 07:30 -12:00

Key Competencies

• Strong experience on Excel
• SAP Experience Advantageous
• Experience on MRP Purchasing
• Experience with Production Planning / Capacity Planning
