This company are the first and only company within their particular niche of commercial energy supply - they have pioneered a process that allows commercial property owners to provide bespoke energy packages for tenants taking into account variables in needs such as sustainability targets, energy usage and flexibility. In this role you will be heavily involved in maintaining the company's accreditation as a regulated energy supplier by overseeing the Settlements function. You will be monitoring, analysing and managing industry settlement performance and industry flows as fell as forecasting settlement volumes and investigating/resolving exceptions.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as part of a regulated energy supplier where they have been involved in the billings and/or settlement function. They will need to have a good understanding of things such as Industry Flows, MWHHS (Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement)and Exception Resolution.

The Role:
* Overseeing Settlements function of the business and also playing a leading role in Billing team
* Forecasting settlement volumes
* Working with various teams to address any issues and queries relating to settlement
* Responsibility for Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement programme
* Monitoring industry settlement performance

The Person:
* Previous experience working for a regulated energy supplier
* Demonstratable knowledge of electricity supply settlements
* Strong understanding of things such as industry flows, exception resolution and trend analysis
* Knowledge of MWHHS (desirable)
