About the Role: As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing staff, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and lead site staff, ensuring efficient and effective work practices.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, timesheets, and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of projects, providing input on resource allocation and project timelines.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the construction or drainage industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification or membership in a recognised construction or engineering institution (desirable).
