Kenton Black Finance are supporting a business based in the Milnthorpe area who have been operating for over 100 years. Since the company's early beginnings supplying the local and UK market, they have steadily increased their customer base on a global scale. Worldwide, they now serve over 220 clients in 49 countries with a product range that includes over 50 professional products. They are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Controller to work on a full-time and permanent basis. Working on a hybrid basis is an option.
Your new job as the Accounts Payable Controller:
• Maintenance of Uniplan (ERP) cashbook with current account cash receipts & payments
• Maintenance & processing of invoices
• Maintenance of Uniplan accounts payable ledger & required processes
o Invoice processing, approvals, liaising with internal & external stakeholders to ensure all invoices are booked and approved in a timely manner
• Preparation of payment runs
• Reconciliation, revaluation & closure of ledger at month end
• Preparation of all accounts payable accruals
• Deferred VAT & Postponed VAT accounting
• Preparation and submission of UK VAT return
• Current account bank reconciliation
• Supporting all audits throughout the year
Experience, Skills and Qualifications required to apply:
• Proven purchase ledger professional
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently & as part of a team
• AAT Qualification would be preferred
Salary and Reward on offer:
• Salary of £30,000 to £35,000
• 33 days of annual leave (including Bank holidays),
