The role offers an annual salary between £60,000-£65,000 and an extra bonus for achieving a GOOD or OUTSTANDING OFSTED rating. Plus, you'll be managing a modern, beautifully furnished 5 bedroom residential home.
Our client is a highly regarded organisation that provides top-quality residential care for children and young people. As the Registered Manager for the Children's Home, your duties will include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of a residential children’s home.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and young people in the home.
- Guiding a team of staff to deliver high-quality service to children and young people.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring the home meets or exceeds OFSTED’s requirements.
- Efficiently managing the home’s budget and resources.
- Participating in on-call duties on a rota basis.
- Keeping accurate records and reports.
As the Registered Manager for the Children's Home, you'll receive:

- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare).
- At least 2 years’ experience managing an OFSTED-registered home with a rating of GOOD or above.
- Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours/EBD.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Excellent knowledge of current legislation, including The Children’s Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Children’s Act 1989, Children Act 2004, and other relevant legislation related to residential children’s homes.
- Good knowledge of “ClearCare” or “Mentor” (Software for Children’s Home).
