Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic welding skills such as MIG welding, Seem welding and Spot welding . You will be working in a busy steel shop environment.
Ideal candidate will be responsible for construction of steel anti vandal units, they will be working from CAD drawings and therefore will require a good understanding of these and be able to read them sufficiently, they will construct steel staircases (using a jig) they will be seam welding and they will require the ability to use a press / guillotine.
A good DIY enthusiast or someone with basic welding skills.
Rate of pay will be £13.50 p/hour
Shifts:
Mon - Thurs: 07:30 - 16:30
Fridays: 07:30 - 12:30
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets project specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in welding, ideally 1 year.
Basic knowledge of welding techniques and tools.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment:
May involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
