Job Title: Housing Options Advisor
Location: Ketting - Hybrid, WFH and Officer positions
Pay Rate: £32 Umbrella P/h
Job Type: Full Time/Contract
The Role
The Housing Options Advisors will be allocated new cases and deal with any Homeless on the day cases and then complete robust triages of circumstances, provide initial housing options advice and progress homeless application through the relevant Part VII duties and then make a final decision under s193 as to whether the Council owes the main housing duty.
The Candidate
- An understanding and awareness of current challenges around housing and homelessness.
- A good understanding and knowledge of current housing/homeless legislation, the Code of Guidance, good practice, and case-law
- An understanding of the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the need to ensure accurate data entry for the purpose of producing statistical returns.
