Embedded Systems Engineer

Requirements for Embedded Systems Engineer:

  • Commercial experience and proficiency in low-level C and embedded application code
  • Previously created designs for various applications using VHDL or Verilog
  • Excellent academic history including a 2:1 or 1st class degree from a top-tier university and at least ABB at A-Level (or equivalent UCAS points) 
  • Natural ability to quickly pick up new technologies and programming languages
  • Enthusiastic, excellent problem-solving abilities and be keen to learn.

Responsibilities for Embedded Systems Engineer:

  • Using low-level C and embedded application code you will develop firmware and embedded software, working closely with electronics and software engineers.
  • Innovate design solutions, taking responsibility from requirements capture through all stages of the product development cycle to delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define requirements and design products and applications that meet their needs.
  • Oversee new product development projects involving multiple engineers, while supporting and mentoring team members.
  • Participate in various work areas and collaborate with others to implement lasting improvements that impact the entire business.
