Job Title: Nursery Assistant (Part Time)

Salary: £12.83 - £13.50 per hour

Can you plan and supervise fun and educational activities to support their development?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming, local nursery based in Nottingham (NG4) who are looking for a passionate and caring nursery assistant to support them on a day to day basis. The working days are flexible due to your availability and the shifts are usually 7.30am – 6pm or 9am – 5pm.

The successful applicant will be supporting children with their daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime. They will plan and lead age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2/3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years (preferred)
• Previous experience working in a nursery (required)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for working with young children and making a difference in their lives
• Experience in personal care (feeding babies and changing nappies)
• Knowledge of safeguarding
