I'm currently working with an amazing client who is looking for a Project Manager with a history of scructure projects and is local to Birmingham.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum plus additional benefits

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resources.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial projections, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the activities of the project team, including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Quality Control: Ensure construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.

 Project Manager Competencies:

• Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams, providing direction and guidance to achieve project objectives.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in construction methods, materials, and building codes to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Planning and Organization: Strong project management skills to plan, prioritize, and manage resources efficiently to meet project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications Required:

• Experienced background working for major contractors on Civils or Rail Projects.
• Demonstrable experience working on major civils/structures projects.
• Appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card or Similar.
