Assistant Green Keeper  | Reigate, Surrey | Full Time | £24,500 – £28,000 per annum dependant on skills and experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Green Keeper to join this expanding Golf Club.

Our client is a leading Golf Club, set in the beautiful Surrey countryside and with stunning views their homely clubhouse warmly welcomes everyone who visits them.

Located just north of Reigate and within 3 minutes of junction 8 off the M25 they are perfect for hosting a business meeting in one of their conference rooms, holding your wedding reception in their Wedding venue or to play a round on their scenic golf course.

Please note- this role has seasonal hours working mainly 6am – 3pm Monday – Friday in the summer and 7am-2pm in winter. Weekend mornings are included on a rota basis and paid at an overtime rate.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Good hands on experience, preferably from a green keeping, gardening or landscaping background
• Experience in operating machinery an advantage although not essential as training will be given
• A practical mindset with a hands on approach to hard work and a pride in presenting the best facility possible

What will your role look like?

• Basic green keeping tasks
• Up keep of the course and playing surfaces using ride on machinery
• Mowing, strimming, bunker raking
