VGC Group are looking for experienced Yard Supervisor to start on a project in Staffordshire. This contract is available to start on ASAP and we can offer up to 3 to 6 months to a successful candidate.

Yard Supervisor experience

Your role as a Yard Supervisor will be based in Staffordshire and will consist of:

• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of yard personnel.
• Monitor and maintain tock levels of materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely restocking of materials.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and filed as required.
• Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Based in Staffordshire remuneration for this role is £16.19 per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.

You must provide proof of right to work in UK and pass a drugs and alcohol test upon induction.
