We are seeking a skilled CNC Punch Press Operator to join a well established team in Reading. The ideal candidate will have experience working with fine limit sheet metal, with knowledge of Amada machinery. Previous experience in aerospace industry is preferred, and programming skills are highly desirable.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Punch Press Operator to join a well established team in Reading. The ideal candidate will have experience working with fine limit sheet metal, with knowledge of Amada machinery. Previous experience in aerospace industry is preferred, and programming skills are highly desirable.
Punch Press Operator Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC punch machines to produce precision sheet metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Monitor the production process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain and inspect machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes
- Proven experience as a CNC Punch Operator, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Familiarity with Amada machinery
- Strong knowledge of fine limit sheet metal work
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Programming skills are desirable
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Setting up and operating CNC punch machines to produce sheet metal components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Communicating with team members to ensure smooth production processes
- Conducting regular maintenance inspections on machinery
- Adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards
- Location: Reading
- Working Week: 4 days, Mon-Thurs
- Holiday: 25 days + statutory holiday
- Additional: Overtime available, free parking and easy access
