Workplace Concierge/Receptionist - £26,000 - Crawley 

An industry leading client is looking for a Concierge to join one of their most prestigious contracts. The role is paying up to £26,000 and is a fantastic opportunity to join a team working with an international giant. There are plenty of training and progression opportunities in order to enhance employee development. I have included some key information about the role below:

  • Mon/Fri 8-5/7-4 
  • Candidates will be put through their SIA licence/First Aid Course if they don't already have it

Front Desk Duties:

  1. To provide a world-class, client-facing front of house service.
  2. To show a positive attitude, body language, and knowledge about the building and its surroundings.
  3. Promptly and efficiently deal with telephone calls in a welcoming positive manner.
  4. Monitor inbox, deal with incoming emails and other inquiries related to the building.
  5. Take and pass on accurate messages as required using multiple technology’s (Email, MS Teams).
  6. Making sure that the reception area is clean and tidy at all times.
  7. Liaise with the Cleaning, Maintenance, Porterage regarding the health and safety of the building and others.
  8. Support visitors by assisting with any other visitor management requests.
  9. Issue passes to building users and visitors as required.
  10. Manage access and egress to the building (including managing the entrance barriers and ANPR system)
  11. Report any suspicious behaviour through the required channels and process.

Workplace Experience Duties:

  1. Ownership of office floors and the surrounding areas to ensure the best workplace experience is met each day.
  2. Embrace Host values.
  3. Carry out daily floor checks from 07:00 onwards to ensure all areas are ready for the day.
  4. Collaborating with IT, Maintenance, Cleaning, Helpdesk teams to ensure that issues are reported in line with procedures.
  5. Manage stock control 
  6. Report health and safety hazards and raise jobs related to Maintenance / IT / Cleaning.
  7. Complete weekly / monthly tasks including stock checks, audits.
  8. Assist the Client with any daily requests and deal with them in a prompt manner.
  9. Help other team members if need.
  10. Uphold etiquettes of floor including Clear Desk Policy
