PSV Technician / PSV Engineer / PSV Fitter

Salary: £18.50 - £20.00 per hour (overtime available at 1.5)
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: Day shift Mon – Fri (45 hours p/w) – Alt weekend working either sat or sun morning

We are currently seeking a dedicated PSV Technician / Mechanic to perform essential maintenance and repairs on buses. This PSV Technician role is vital for ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• As a PSV Technician, conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards
• The PSV Technician will perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections is a key duty for the PSV Technician.
• 85% bus and coach work the rest is HGV’s and trailers
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory, a responsibility of the PSV Technician.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in the PSV Technician field, with comprehensive vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• A strong commitment to health and safety standards, essential for a PSV Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline or time served for a PSV Technician.
• PSV will be preferable but not a requirement
