Inventory Control Specialist - Manufacturing

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking talented individuals to join their team as Inventory Control Specialists on a Temp to Perm basis. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for process optimisation, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with manufacturing and supply chain departments to ensure materials are available to meet the Master Planning Schedule.
  • Managing and administering manufacturing cycle count programmes.
  • Supporting the annual stock take of inventories for manufacturing and finished goods.
  • Implementing and driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory control, process optimisation, cycle count accuracy, receiving throughput, and material handling efficiency's.
  • Supporting and managing timely resolution of systematic queries, including invoice queries, quality/rejects, ERP & WMS transactions.
  • Establishing and maintaining procedures, work instructions, and policies within ISO-9001 and ISO-14001.
  • Ensuring all affected stakeholders are properly trained to meet requirements.
  • Ensuring employees keep accurate inventory records and adhere to proper procedures relating to inventory control.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in inventory control or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 is a plus.
