As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR needs of our client's retail division. You will partner closely with senior leaders and managers to provide expert guidance on all HR matters. This role is mix of remote and field work - you will be traveling to the opening of new stores around the North of the UK where necessary and working from home.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Solid experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in the retail industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practises and employment laws, with proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement HR initiatives seamlessly.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering HR programmes and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, providing guidance on various HR initiatives.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts in a fair and unbiased manner.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify talent needs and support recruitment efforts, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Partner with the HR team to develop and implement performance management programmes, providing coaching and feedback to managers.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify talent development needs and offer training and development solutions.
  • Stay up to date on employment laws and HR best practises, ensuring compliance across the retail division.
  • Lead and execute HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organisation.
