Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties is proud to be supporting a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with a business in Northamptonshire. They are seeking an experienced and hands on Management Accountant who can take real ownership of the workload.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Take overall ownership of producing month end management accounts & departmental P&L's.
- Monitor KPI's, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances and making recommendations for improvement
- Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliation. Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
- Provide monthly reporting
- Hold Monthly Meetings to support the accounts, to discuss their performance.
- Assistant with the production of annual budgets and supporting analytical analysis
Person Specification
- Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA or AAT Qualified
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong excel skills
- Self-motivated, flexible can-do attitude works well under pressure, on own initiative and in a team environment
- Ability to prioritise workload and keep to strict deadline
- Excellent attention to detail
