Health and Social Science Teacher

B35, Birmingham

EARLY BIRD ALERT!  !  Do you possess the skills and dedication to inspire students to excel in their GCSEs? We need a Passionate and dedicated Health and Social Science Teacher to Support Young Learners and Encourage Growth in our Partnered High School.

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching Scale - determined by experience

This is a wonderful opportunity to create a supportive and powerful learning environment where every student will succeed and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an engaging curriculum for GCSE Health and Social care students.
  • Conduct regular classes, covering key topics such as health, wellbeing, social issues, and human development.
  • Prepare students for their GCSE exams through effective teaching strategies and practice assessments.
  • Assess and record student progress, planning future activities to meet their educational needs.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to enhance the educational experience of the children.
  • Participate in and contribute to school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Previous experience within a school setting.
  • QTS or relevant teaching or education qualification.
  • Strong background in health and social sciences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Creative approach to teaching and curriculum development.
