Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Trailer Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Trailer Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our fleet of trailers to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute directly to our goal of delivering top-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests on trailers.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as brake adjustments, electrical repairs, and suspension work.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Coordinate with fleet management to prioritize maintenance and repair needs.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Trailer Service Engineer or similar role in the transportation industry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Solid understanding of trailer braking systems, suspension systems, and chassis components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
