Our client is medium sized manufacturer with a global presence, they are looking to recruit a stores operative. You will have a background in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
The client is growing with a very healthy future order book and modern facilities, making the office environment a pleasure to work in.
The Role
The role of stores is to receive all the metal bar required for production...the role consists of
- Receive stock from suppliers
- check stock to paperwork and book in
- Identify any discrepancies
- Saw the metal bar to required lengths
- Store the cut bar in correct locations
The right stores operative will have an in date FLT licence, a great attention to detail, a flexible approach to work, be able to understand manufacturing drawings and experience in an engineering company.
The right stores operative will get a starting rate of £12.65 per hour, and early finish on Fridays, 35 days holidays, share scheme, fantastic pension contributions, wellbeing days off and many others, it really is a company that looks after it's employees.
