£50 - £60/hour

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support a biopharmaceutical company in Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse expansion project – Act as SME and Client side representative – coordination of design requirement
  • Existing Building Upgrade for accessibility requirements
  • Supervision of minor upgrade projects relating to existing facility/Equipment (when not covered by Fac.Management/Equipment Projects)
  • Manage the GMP aspects of Facility projects when required to enable minimal production impact.
  • Responsible for budgeting, resource management requirements and maintaining schedule adherence across projects.
  • Act as SME and Project manager for Facility expansion
  • Act as PM for Facility projects
  • Provide reports when required to Senior Management on project status
  • Provide specialist oversight of project risk register

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline
  • GMP & Biologics industry experience essential
  • Project Engineer/ Project Manager with experience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and processing projects, in a highly GMP production environment
  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion
  • Full project lifecycle experience from end to end design through to C&Q and handover
  • Understands project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeout
  • Excellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team
