We are currently recruiting for a full time Personal Assistant to join the North East & Yorkshire team based in Wakefield or Stockton. Reporting to the Area Director your role will be to provide a high quality, comprehensive PA and administration service to the Area Senior Leadership Team.
This role is for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
As the Personal Assistant you will:
- Prepare, update, collate and distribute correspondence and documents. Including printing and preparing documents and contracts for wet ink signatures.
- Inbox management & diary management including arranging appropriate facilities for meetings as required.
- Liaising with internal and external colleagues and directors
- Handling queries as appropriate and manage timely responses to escalated or senior stakeholder queries such as local Councilor's, MP’s and Transport Authority Directors
- Arrange accommodation and travel logistics, as and when required
- Reconcile personal expense claims, credit card statements and compliance reporting for the SLT.
- Filter and manage emails; responding on behalf of the SLT as and when appropriate
- Collate and prepare relevant information in preparation for business and Board meetings
- Take minutes of meetings, as and when required
- Co-ordinate local events such as recognition awards, team away days
Candidate Requirements
- Knowledge of the North East and Yorkshire area to allow efficient diary management
- Ability to travel between the North East and Yorkshire as required (predominantly Stockton and Wakefield).
- Experience working as a Personal Assistant
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships
- A minimum of intermediate level skills in using Microsoft packages
- Flexibility of approach including the ability to multi task
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Ability to assimilate large quantities of written & verbal information quickly and accurately
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, when required
