Role: Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Northamptonshire

Rise10 are working with a market leading Engineering and Surveying company based in Northamptonshire, who are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer.

Duties:

• Writing drainage strategies and verification reports.
• Train and manage graduate and project civil engineers.
• Produce technical drawings using AutoCad.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Liaise with local authority planning departments and lead local flood authorities.

Skills and Experience:

• Have a Civil Engineering qualification, with a minimum of 6 years experience.
• Experienced in the design of below ground foul and surface water drainage systems.
• AutoCad experience.
• Detailed knowledge of SuDS and flood risk assessments.
• Familiarity with MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage.
• Knowledge of 3D civil design software (desirable).
• Familiarity with highways design and how it interacts with drainage design.
• Managing deadlines and organising own schedule.
• Team player.
