Join our client’s dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative/MHE Driver – this is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that values team spirit at its core.  You will handle stock movement, including putting away, consolidation, picking and packing, and dispatch, while operating all Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) Safely. This role also involves maintaining efficient warehouse practices. 

Due to the nature of the business, there are additional security requirements so the company will be undertaking an enhanced DBS for all applicants. 

Duties and Responsibilities
-    Stock Handling – Receive, check and store packaging and bulk stock, restocking shelves and relabel/barcode stock.
-    Order Fulfilment – Pick and pack customer orders to meet targets, dispatch orders and assist with loading lorries.
-    Warehouse Maintenance – Keep the warehouse clean and tidy, reporting any issues to the manager.
-    MHE Operation – Maintain your designated area, use MHE safely and complete maintenance records, attending required training sessions
-    Health and Safety – always adhering to regulations.

Qualifications and Key Skills
-    Warehouse vehicle licenses/training certificates – in house licenses are acceptable but this company is willing to train for the most fantastic candidates. 
-     Fit for active work with repetitive lifting ability 
-    Good numeracy, literacy and attention to detail
-    Basic computer skills 
-    Knowledge of health and safety regulations

-    Achieve daily targets 
-    Maintain accuracy 
-    Comply with health and safety standard

Working Conditions
-    3-week rotating shift pattern – Day Shift (11:30am to 8pm or 8am to 4:30pm) with on call 
-    Available on call some days and nights  
-    Fast-paced environment 

Physical Requirements 
-    Good Vision and Hearing 
-    Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
-    Ability to lift and carry items as needed 
-    Possible exposure to heat, cold and heights
