The company:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company in Rayleigh in a varied and fast-paced engineering role.

The company is looking for an experienced engineering professional and will consider people from a wide range of backgrounds. The successful applicant will be trained completely within the company's facilities.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Carrying out reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.
• Identify and rectify faults efficiently to minimise downtime and optimise productivity.

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

• Relevant engineering qualifications (City and Guilds preferred)
• Competent in mechanical repairs and maintenance, including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Experience within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment
• Ability to manage your own time and responsibilities.
