Title: Customer Service Advisor

Position: Full-time, Based in St Albans

Reports to: Sales Manager

Salary range: £24K to £27K



We are delighted to partner with a leading supplier of high-quality products to the hospitality industry. Our client offers an extensive range of items, ensuring their customers can provide an exceptional experience for their guests. We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join their experienced Customer Service Team. This team is paramount in building excellent customer relations as they are the first point of contact. Customers return thanks to a well-informed, friendly, and helpful sales team that handles queries about products, orders, and deliveries. The staff are goal-oriented and possess a deep knowledge of customer service best practices. Its an exciting time to join this growing, fast-paced family-run company in Frogmore.



Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers by phone and email
  • Process orders via email or phone
  • Check accuracy and update data in orders and customer accounts
  • Contact customers to obtain missing information, take payments, or answer queries
  • Liaise with the logistics department to ensure timely deliveries or chase late deliveries
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • Use bespoke software system, IQ at Intact
  • Stay up to date with new products and features
  • Maintain and build effective and long-lasting customer relations
  • Offer excellent personal and professional customer service
  • Handle queries with effective resolution


Skills Required:

  • Good telephone manner
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player with a high level of dedication
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Office
  • Competent computer and keyboard skills
  • Competent in upselling and promoting products to drive business
